The Full Story
About Us
We started Midlife Women’s Clinic because this is what we needed during perimenopause. It's the service we wish we had, and the proactive care we needed, but didn't get.

Our Why

We’re Sharon and Tania - two women with very different perimenopause stories, but the same frustration: we didn’t get the information or support we needed until much later than we should have.

One of us was waiting for the hot flushes that never came, meanwhile her bones were silently getting weaker. The other was drowning in night sweats, fatigue and rage but wasn’t given effective answers or solutions. Both of us were offered too little, too late.

So, we created the service we wish we’d had - one that listens early, supports holistically and helps women get the clarity and care they deserve from the very first signs of change.
Our Peri Stories
Sharon:
I didn’t have hot flushes or mood swings - just sore, aching joints which I thought were part of ageing. Despite a wrist fracture and a Dexa scan revealing I was osteopenic at 49, menopause wasn't on my radar. 2 years later I started hormone therapy but had missed the window to proactively protect my bones and heart health during perimenopause. Now I'm passionate about women having the opportunity to intervene early.

Tania:
I had all the symptoms - insomnia, heavy periods mood swings - but no one really connected the dots and my GP never discussed hormones. I was told it was stress and I pushed through with exercise and sheer willpower, until my body basically burnt out. Only later did I realise it was perimenopause all along.

Together, we’re committed to helping women get support sooner - not years down the track
